Problem
Standard developer bootcamps often produce programmers focused on basic syntax who struggle with deep system design and self-directed problem solving. At Brototype, we needed an elite, high-bar track to select our highest-potential candidates and train them as engineers rather than developers—preparing them to secure high-tier engineering packages.
My Role
As Project Lead & R&D Associate, I built and managed the ACE Program from its inception to the present. I owned the programme strategy, designed individualized curricula based on continuous market research, established the operational organization, and acted as Product Manager for our public portal, ace.brototype.com.
What I Did
- Researched technical hiring shifts and designed customized curricula for each student in the cohort, focusing on high-demand disciplines such as Cybersecurity, MERN, and Go-to-Market (GTM) technical roles.
- Structured and directed three specialized operational wings under my leadership: an onboarding team to manage screening, a communication wing to build technical articulation, and a placement wing dedicated to industry opportunities.
- Hand-selected domain experts to evaluate weekly student progress and deliver actionable technical reviews.
- Led product management and delivery for ace.brototype.com, creating the requirements, PRD, and roadmap to publish verified student outcomes and programme metrics.
Tools
Agile/Scrum, Product Roadmap, Jira, Market Analytics, Next.js, Technical Assessment Frameworks.
Outcome
- Maintained an active cohort of 20+ top-performing students on average with rolling admissions and continuous placements.
- Secured an average placement package of ~13+ LPA for graduates entering competitive engineering roles.
- Successfully built and launched ace.brototype.com as the single source of truth for the programme.
